Here’s trump’s approval rating in every state

From Business InsiderPresident Donald Trump has proven to be a divisive figure in his first six months in office, and Americans' views of how well he's doing his job vary widely across the country. On Monday, Gallup released estimates of Trump's job approval rating in each of the 50 states, based on a collection of over 81,000 survey results between the president's inauguration on January 20 and June 30.It's worth noting that the extended time interval, while necessary to ensure large enough sample sizes in each state to make reasonable estimates of the president's approval rating, means that views of Trump may have changed amid a tumultuous six months. Still, Gallup's results provide at least some idea of where the president stands across the states. The president won all 17 of ...

Now known as “beg-packing,” locals are shocked to see white tourists begging in the streets of Southeast Asian countries including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore to raise money for their travels. While some just see it as bizarre, others are outraged by it, calling it an “orientalist fantasy.” A young Singaporean, Maisarah Abu Samah, said she finds it “extremely strange” to see “white people” asking for money to fund their trips: It was the first time I’ve seen something like that ...

Interviewing Jeremy Fontanet Cullens

To see Jeremy walk in a room one can’t help but notice him. His stats you’ll find below but to me and I bet anyone who witness his stature strut by would be in awe at the very sight of him. He looks like an great adonis walking amongst us simple mortals. He is undeniably shy and humble, something hard to believe considering his beauty but it’s very true. Planning Summertime in Las Vegas

Am I really talking about summer already? OMG, as the kids say! Wonky-face emoji. Sunshine emoji. Swimmer emoji. You get the point. I’ve just realized a spring/summer trip is sneaking up on us next month and here I am thinking about sliding into the tanning booth beforehand for some Sin City glow. I don’t want to scare the aqua revelers at the Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas when we descend upon the resort for culinary money shots and a blended cocktail or mixed spirit. The planning continues here… Finding our way to The Cosmo a dozen times or so now seems like (a fabulous) old hat. A perfectly fitting and sly fedora that provides us exactly what we crave; A ...

Hugh Jackman Has Forced Us to Think About Wolverine’s Penis

Hugh Jackman Has Forced Us to Think About Wolverine’s Penis Sure, there are probably worse places our mind could go than thinking about Wolverine’s penis, but there are no doubt more productive places, too. Hugh Jackman, the Aussie actor who has portrayed your favorite hairy X-Man nine times on the big screen, ending with his recent turn in the critically acclaimed flick Logan, has got us thinking naughty things about a short-and-hairy comic book character. Yesterday the Hollywood Reporter unearthed a 2009 conversation between Jackman and Howard Stern. Apparently during the filming of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Jackman went completely nude for the scenes in which his character escapes the facility where his bones were covered in adamantium. He was offered the chance ...

Wait, Did Barack Obama Just Become a Style Icon?

Wait, Did Barack Obama Just Become a Style Icon? A month and a few days out of office sure do make a difference. While president of the United States, Barack Obama always knew how to wear a suit. He wore them damn well, and that’s pretty much undeniable. But he was also known for his “mom jeans,” which despite GQ arguing otherwise, have never been cool. Just this week, though, we’ve seen a new side of Obama — a husband and father whose style is current and on-trend — and in one outing all his past style sins have been forgiven. Benefitting Well in the Desert Charity

During the Christmas holidays I stopped by local non-profit Well in the Desert to drop off a bag full of clean clothes and was quickly humbled by what I walked into. It was busy day here at home when I felt inclined to tear through my drawers and closets to fill up a rolling bag that was sitting sadly alone in the garage. I’ve always loved a minimalist way of living. If I’m not wearing or using it, tell me again why I have it? This was one of those days. I zipped it up and placed it in my trunk for a delivery a few days later. After calling ahead I spoke with someone that told me to come on over so I ...

Celebrities, Politicians—Even YouTube!—Have Come Out Against Trump’s Trans Hate

Celebrities, Politicians—Even YouTube!—Have Come Out Against Trump’s Trans Hate Yesterday was a bleak day for America’s trans community, as Donald Trump officially rescinded the protections that Barack Obama had put in place for trans students. Whereas since May 2016 the Department of Justice told schools that trans students had to be allowed to use bathrooms matching their gender identity, those guidelines no longer exist. From the statement released by Trump’s Attorney General, Jeff Sessions: The Department of Justice has a duty to enforce the law. [Obama’s] prior guidance documents did not contain sufficient legal analysis or explain how the interpretation was consistent with the language of Title IX. The Department of Education and the Department of Justice therefore have withdrawn the guidance. … ...
