Retailers push offensive Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume

Several online costume retailers are now selling a costume that resembles trans superstar Caitlyn Jenner. While dressing up as a celebrity for Halloween is nothing new, some are outraged over the transphobic costumes being advertised online with a Caitlyn Jenner theme. Most of the online costumes feature the same wardrobe including a sash that reads “Call Me Caitlyn” with a brown wig and padded bra. Despite the fact that the costumes are being marketed as unisex most of them are listed in the men’s section on various websites. LGBT activists have voice their opinion online saying that no member of the community should support such a transphobic ploy for costume designers to make an easy buck. Caitlyn Jenner honored at ESPYS

Caitlyn Jenner accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYS on Wednesday night encouraging others to show acceptance for other who are trans during her acceptance speech. Jenner spoke of her own transition saying: “This transition has been harder on me than anything I can imagine.” But she encouraged people to accept others going through the same thing. “Trans people deserve something vital; they deserve your respect. From that respect comes a more compassionate community.” “My plea for you tonight is … join me in making this one of your issues as well,” she said. Trailer for Caitlyn Jenner’s reality show released [VIDEO]

We’re finally getting our first look at Caitlyn Jenner’s new reality show I Am Cait  which will begin airing on E! later this month.  You can watch the full trailer below. The tease for Jenner’s new show that documents her living under her post transition identity as Caitlyn and leaving the former Olympian Bruce behind. In one scene of the video clip, Caitlyn is leaving the property and said that she hopes one day she’ll be “normal.” After a few words of encouragement, Jenner corrects herself saying :”I’m the new normal.” I Am Cait premieres on E! Mark Zuckerberg: Facebook’s ‘Real Name’ Policy Should Work For Trans People
